What we keep, and why.

The short version

  • We collect only what you choose to send us.
  • We use it to answer you and to do the work. Nothing else.
  • We never sell it or share it for advertising.
  • This site sets no cookies and doesn't track you around the web.
  • Ask and we'll delete it.

01What we collect

  • The quote form: your name, business name, email, and optionally your phone number, current website, and whatever you write in the message.
  • The client intake form: the details we need to build your site, such as your services, hours, service area, and links to your photos.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, the amount, and the payment status. We never see your full card number.
  • Email you send us, and anything attached to it.
  • Basic server logs kept by our host, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, used to keep the site running and secure.

02How we use it

To reply to your inquiry, quote your project, build your website, take payment, and keep the records a business has to keep. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

03Who else handles it

A few services do the work behind the scenes. Each handles your details only to provide that service:

We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

04Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set cookies, and there are no advertising pixels or tracking scripts on it. Stripe's checkout pages are hosted by Stripe and follow Stripe's own policy.

05How long we keep it

Inquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Records for projects we've done are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

06Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@helpful-co.com and we'll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some payment records where the law requires it.

07Children

This site is for businesses. It isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

08Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
